Q: Will I receive my ticket(s) in the mail or electronically?

A: Other than the "commemorative" tickets mentioned in our FB posts, we will not be issuing physical tickets. Your email from Paypal is your proof of registration- please bring it with you the day of the event. We will have a master list of names to verify registration and will be issuing wristbands to participants for the count.

Q: What happens if I purchase a ticket but can't attend?

A: The IHS All-Class Reunion is a fundraiser benefiting a variety of school programs, as well as paying for the event itself, so we are unfortunately not able to issue refunds if you are not to attend. But rest assured, your payment is going to a good cause and will benefit future classes of IHS for years to come!

Q: What time do I need to be there?

A: Checkin for the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD attempt will begin at 11 AM at two checkin stations at the north and south entrances to the football stadium. Participants will be asked for proof of ticket purchase and photo ID in order to gain entry. Once inside, participants will be issued an official lanyard (wristbands for guests) and directed to their graduating class section in the bleachers.  We're gates will be open from 11 AM to 2:15 PM for check in and will close in preparation for the program which begins at 2:30. Once the program concludes, approximately 3:30 PM, gates will reopen at the north entrance only.

Q: How will I find my fellow classmates among the thousands who will be attending?

A: The bleachers will be divided up chronologically into 41 sections, beginning with the class of 1978 at the southwest corner of the stadium. Note: students who attended but did not graduate are welcome to sit with the class they would have graduated with.  Once you've checked in and receive your lanyard, you can proceed to your class section. Class reps will also be on hand to assist and there will be signs and banners to make it easier to find your group.

Q: What will the BBQ include?

A: The school will be providing a basic BBQ - hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, sodas and water. We have had several inquiries as to vegan options and will be addressing this concern as we get closer to the event and will make every attempt to be accommodating.

Q: Is alcohol or smoking permitted?

A: Due to campus and district policies and for the safety and enjoyment of all participants,  alcohol, drugs and smoking - including cigarettes, canibus and vaping - are strictly prohibited inside the stadium (including the bleachers) and on surrounding school property. There will be designated smoking areas just outside the stadium, but be aware that security and San Jose PD officers will be onsite to monitor and eject violators. We want everyone to have a blast and be safe and there will likely be 'after parties' scheduled where you can indulge in a more appropriate location.
